Solomon Ifeanyi Nathaniel

National Coordinator

Solomon is an accomplished social worker and a fervent champion for inclusive and high-quality education that benefits all individuals. With more than nine years of experience in community organizing, youth leadership, and advocacy, Solomon brings a wealth of expertise to his role. He is currently the National Coordinator of Unique Foundation, an organization he co-founded in 2014, and also serves as the chairman of Unique Development Aid Foundation. These organizations share a common mission of supporting vulnerable individuals and rural communities in both The Gambia and Nigeria. In Nigeria, the organization is known as Unique Development Aid Foundation. Solomon's leadership and dedication contribute significantly to the organizations' efforts in making a positive impact on education and community development in the region. Solomon strongly believes that individuals with limited or no access to education face significant obstacles at every stage of their lives. His ultimate vision is to create a future where every child and young adult, regardless of their educational background, possesses the ability to read and write. In addition to his role with Unique Foundation, Solomon also serves as the CEO of 'Intown Fresh Farm,' a comprehensive destination for fresh farm produce. His commitment to education and advocacy extends beyond his organizational roles. Solomon actively engages in various initiatives and networks, including his membership in the Africa Youth Commission, participation in the Young African Leaders Initiative, appointment as a Global Youth Ambassador for education by Theirworld, designation as a World Literacy Foundation Ambassador, and his involvement as a West Africa Fellow with the Acumen Academy. Through his diverse experiences and unwavering dedication, Solomon works tirelessly to empower individuals, transform communities, and create a brighter future for all.

Legal Adviser

Oluwaseyitan Ayotunde Solademi esq provides legal advice for Unique Foundation The Gambia. She is a lawyer who specializes in African international human rights law and has particular interests in the human rights of women. She holds a bachelor and a Master degree in law. She has served in the principal human rights organs of the African Union and currently works as a legal research assistant at the legal department of the African Court on Human and People’s Rights Arusha Tanzania. She is an ardent advocate of the right to education of the girl child and believes that an educated society is an empowered society.

Ms. Rohdel Yvonne Smith is our Communications Officer. With her vast experience and academic qualifications in the fields of HR and Management, she is young, dynamic and passionate cohort of Unique Foundation The Gambia.

Abdoulie Barry

Board Member

Abdoulie Barry is currently a member and Board of Director for Unique Foundation The Gambia. He holds a bsc degree in mathematics with a minor in Economics. He is young, talented and has a vast knowledge in the area of statistics and mathematics. Mr. Barry is an advocate of the right for proper education for all. He believes that with proper education given to African children, Africa will arise. He is also a senior mathematics teacher at Nigeria International School The Gambia.

Michelle Senghore is the chairperson of the board of directors for Unique Foundation The Gambia. She is an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher with a love for educating today's youth. Adept in creating a comprehensive and well-rounded curriculum that meets education requirements and standards. She is a powerful facilitator with learning experiences, allowing students to dictate certain lessons and lead with curiosity. She is familiar with many renowned educational philosophies aimed at supporting a child academically, emotionally, and socially. Bringing forth dedication, skill, and the desire to positively impact the lives of children.

Dr. Aloysius Obinna Ikwuka (MD)

Development Director

Dr. Ikwuka is a Specialist Medical Doctor (Internal Medicine/Endocrinology/Diabetology) and has course certificates from universities in 6 different continents, including the prestigious Ivy League universities like Harvard, Yale, Oxford, etc. He has been nominated for different international fellowships and has attended international conferences in different continents. He is registered as a Specialist Medical Doctor in different countries. Dr. Ikwuka has more than 8 years of experience in teaching international students from 6 different continents and more than 56 different countries of the world. He is a positive game changer to every organisation he has worked with and brings an enormous wealth of experience and energy to every cause he is committed to.

Great Akah Ottuduoma is the registrar and head of Mass Communication Department at Stratford College of Management the Gambia and the co-founder of Kairaba Polytechnic the Gambia. He holds BA in English & Literature and post-graduate diploma in International Relations and Politics. He is also the secretary general of Nigerian Community and Governing Council, Nigeria International School, (NIS) The Gambia.

Dr. Oyejide Felix Omotosho

Dr. Oyejide Felix Omotosho is a senior lecturer of political science at the University of the Gambia. He holds a doctorate degree in political science with expertise in governance matters and project cycle management. He has currently completed a second masters in international relations and diplomacy of the University of the Gambia plus an internship with the European Union (EU) for expertise in international development cooperation. He has published variously on governance issues with reputable international and scholarly journals.
